About ASHLEY

Ashley McCombie (E-RYT, LMT)  Founder of Her Soul Writes, is a International Healing Arts Practitioner who embodies soul perspective to activate you in becoming your most connected and expressive self.

She specializes in working with subtle energetics, soul integration, and anchoring your higher self. The impact of this healing work helps you naturally reflect on your current state of being and catalyzes you to uproot unaligned vibrational emotions, beliefs, and patterns. Creating tangible and vibrationally attuned lasting changes in your life.

Ashley grew up in Saratoga Springs, NY, where she began practicing yoga in 2006 under the guidance of Yoga Therapist Mana Arletta Behan, the practice of yoga immediately felt like home as soon as her hands landed on the mat and became the inner foundation of her journey. Ashley’s innate gifts and passion lead her to complete a 200-Hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training through Hawaii Yoga Institute in May of 2014 under the guidance of Professional Integrative Yoga Therapist, Adria Pickett. Hawaii Yoga Institute initiated and opened her to the living and breathing art of yoga. The curriculum’s well rounded and engaging playful spirit through the inquiry into the multi-dimensional self, facilitating authentic personal growth, self-reflection, individualized spirituality and movement meditation. Ashley specializes in teaching creative and graceful vinyasa flow, soul rejuvenating restorative and yin classes, as well as Yoga Dance and neuro-somatic Flow Arts with Poi from Polynesian roots.

Initiated into a deeper level of her own awakening, Ashley was faced with a chronic autoimmune condition which lead her into an expansion of her work studying human energetics, somatic healing and soul work. For over three years she worked personally with Elisa Romeo, Hay House Author of Meet Your Soul. In February 2016 she completed her training as a Licensed Massage Therapist through Hawaii Healing Arts College. Ashley has also studied at the University of Albany with a focus in Human Biology and Neuroscience, Integrating both science and spirit into her service. The living and breathing practice that she has cultivated has allowed her to not only heal naturally from a chronic autoimmune condition, but also serves her clients from a truly holistic and intuitive space.

Ashley leads a graceful, breath igniting, creative class that assist in opening the heart and deepen your intuition. Her intention as a teacher is to help students cultivate the grace of their inner knowing and trust the wisdom that lies within the subtle intelligence that unravels through each practice. Ashley’s classes allow her students to find harmony within their inner and outer worlds through self-awareness and embodiment. Her students often leave class feeling energetically and physically activated, elevated, & rejuvenated. Ashley has experience teaching locally and abroad sharing the practice of yoga and the healing arts through the islands of Hawai’i, Bali, Thailand, Australia, New York, and Los Angeles.
